AN INITIATIVE TO HELP WOMEN
Free, Anonymous Trauma Therapy
We hear innumerable, heart-wrenching stories of rape, assault, and sexual, financial, emotional and psychological abuse. It is painfully apparent that a significant number of women carry the unbearable burden of trauma.
Somatic and neuroscience-based techniques are rapidly gaining ground as effective therapeutic practices used by professionals.
Neo Sapio is currently exploring the possibility of providing these therapies to women for free and anonymously.
FOR WOMEN
We are in early stages of development. If you are a woman who would like access to these services, please indicate your interest here.
FOR PROFESSIONALS
We are looking to pay professionals. If you’re a practicing, accredited professional in trauma therapy, please let us know your interest here.
FOR EVERYONE
You may know women who could benefit. You may be able to donate, or introduce professionals. Contribute or share this initiative with your network.

Many women carry the unbearable weight of trauma everyday. What if they had access to free and anonymous trauma therapy?
Help women heal.
Therapy must be offered free and anonymous.
Many women need these services. However, therapy — especially newer modalities that focus on trauma — are not easily accessible. That’s why this needs to be free. It should also be anonymous; women should not need to identify themselves or justify their trauma to get help. Being free and anonymous helps vulnerable populations like domestic workers, dependant stay-at-home mothers being divorced, and women whose environment and culture create significant barriers toward healing.
Hired professionals.
We must hire therapists, not rely on volunteers.
We want to hire full-time and part-time accredited professionals. Working with trauma is not easy. Healing rarely occurs overnight. Continuous work with the same professional(s) is necessary to establish the trust and safety needed to successfully detach from the suffocating tentacles of trauma. Because commitment to clients/patients can be over long periods, we want to ensure relationship continuity. Volunteers typically cannot commit to these very important, longer-term requirements.
Privately funded.
How can we make this happen?
The only way this can succeed is if corporations and high net worth individuals choose to fund this cause. Healing takes time. A 12-week programme can cost around $600. Year-long support is around $2,500. These programmes can and do change lives. Donations pay for therapist services, treatment venues, and basic administrative costs to reach out to women and help them arrange these sessions.

Professionals:
We intend to raise private funding to run this initiative. The use of those funds include paying professionals so that stable and healing client continuity can be established.
We are looking for professionals who are passionate about helping women heal from trauma. If you are an accredited professional in EMDR, TRE, Somatic Experiencing, DBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, Mindfulness, Hypnotherapy or Alternative Healing Therapies, please join this initiative here.
